Universal motor control board
The Motor Controller is highly configurable and scalable at design time. The Motor Controller supports several types of motors and feedback sensors, as well as the data logging board deal with several types of interfaces. There is special web-service to configure devices options: motor type and parameters, sensors quantity and kinds, feedback loops characteristics.
The board is suitable for controlling 1 stepper motor, or 2 DC brush motors or 1 brushless 3-phase motor. On board speed control with multiple feedback types: current consumption, absolute/relative encoders, motor torque, Hall effect sensor. Digital input for external speed control. This board is suitable for robotics, stepper motor or other DC motor applications.
Motor controller options are:
- motor type: step motor, DC brush motor, brushless motor;
- motor peak power;
- interface type: RS232, RS485, USB, CAN, Ethernet, analog input, wireless module;
- galvanic isolation between power control and interface components;
- current, torque and angular speed feedback of motor;
- solid state relay for power control of external devices;
- thermal protection;
- dynamic braking;
- voltage drop protection;
- shot circuit protection;
- absolute (with SSI interface) and relative encoders, potentiometer support;
- mechanical, magnetic and infrared end sensors;
- optical flow sensor (for visual odometry);
- firmware with different control algorithms for electrical motors.
